- Education

- Language Proficiency

- Experience

The Application Process for United Nations Jobs in Kenya
- Step 1:
First, you should visit the UN careers portal. Here you’ll be required to create a UN Personal History Profile (PHP) (this is simply an equivalent to a CV/resume). You’re required to include your personal information, that’s your name, nationality, contact information, and marital status.
- Step 2:
In this step you’ll search for job openings at the UN portal. To make it easier, you can filter your search in accordance to your location and area of expertise.
- Step 3:
After finding the right job opportunity, apply by following the instructions given on the UN website. You’ll then be directed to the application page and answer a set of questions depending on the job applied for. Afterwards, you’ll be asked to upload resumes, motivation letters, and other required documents. After a successful submission, you’ll receive an automated email confirming your application.
- Step 4:
In this step, you are required to be patient as the assessment process continues. You can monitor the status of your application via the portal.
- Step 5:
If you meet the required threshold, you’ll be contacted by the UN team. You’re informed at the right moment in case you fail to qualify. The United Nations encourages these applicants to apply for other job opportunities that may meet their qualifications.
- Finally
Success in the previous step means that you advance to the assessment stage. Here, you’re are assessed by either a written exam or a case study.
